Christmas 2009

Campbell's second Christmas!! This year was completely different from last year. Campbell loved ripping open his gifts and wanted to play with each one before he moved on to the next. He wore us out and we loved every minute of it! As you can see from all the pictures we are very blessed to have a wonderful family who loves us and Campbell, even more.

This hat will come in handy this week...brrrh!!!

One of my recent fav pics...

All the Harrison cousins...can you believe they are all looking at the camera?!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, we did!

Twas the night before Christmas...

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nick soon would be there.

I love this poem!! We had a busy Christmas Eve. We went to The Children's Service at Trinity and chased Campbell around the church. Then off to my Aunt's house for dinner and finally, we headed home so Santa could come visit us!
My Aunt Christy made Campbell a stocking just like the one she made for me 29 years ago. Pretty awesome! Thank you, Christy! We love it!

And the Christmas cookie tradition begins!

We started a Christmas tradition this year for Campbell. We made sugar cookies for Santa. Campbell was a big helper! He tried to eat the cookie dough and got very frustrated when I wouldn't let him. It was a very memorable and fun experience!

Happy boy!

Sampling his work...yummy!

The finished product...aren't they beautiful?!

Happy Halloween!

Campbell had a great Halloween this year. He went as an Astronaut. We went to a couple parties and had a great day eating and playing. No trick-or-treating this year. Mommy and Daddy didn't want the candy in the house.

The first photos were taken by Terri Smith for the 2nd annual Pumpkin Patch Photo shoot benefiting the TMH Cancer Foundation in Marcia Click's name. The photo shoot raised over $600 for cancer research.

First Haircut

A couple weeks ago, the Harrison clan met us at Seminole Barbershop to carry on the tradition. Every Harrison boy since Tom has had their first hair cut by either Larry or Dwayne. 7 little boys and Campbell makes 8. There is actually a picture in the barbershop of Joey, Andy, and Tom when Joey was getting his first hair cut 29 years ago. So, as you can see, it is quite the tradition.

Keys + Lock = Open Door

Campbell surprised me today! He grabbed my keys off the desk...yes, he can now reach things at a desk level and boy are we in trouble. Walked straight over to the door and tried to put a single key in the door knob. He was unsuccessful, but I am sure one day, far too soon for my liking, he will figure it out. Here is a picture of him trying to get the key in the door knob. I didn't get my camera out fast enough to capture his attempt at the actual knob, but this is close enough.
