Visiting with the Trotman's

We went to the Trotman's on Sunday to let Campbell and Liam play and to welcome home Kelly. We had a great visit, and it was wonderful to see how quickly Kelly is recovering from surgery. It seems like each visit the boys interact more and more. I can't wait for Campbell to start crawling, so he can keep up with Liam. We are going to have our hands full very very soon!

Campbell's checking out Liam and amazed that he pulled himself up on the couch.

Love this picture of the two of them. ADORABLE!
I really think it shows their personalities.

Cheerio Time!

This morning Joey made breakfast for us. Poor Campbell didn't have any food he could eat, so I broke out the Cheerios for the first time. He has had them once or twice at Connor's house but never at home. Campbell had a blast eating them, and Bella enjoyed eating the ones that fell on the floor. He has figured out how to pick them up with his finger tips but hasn't figured out how to bring them to his mouth without help from Mom or Dad.

Campbell's New Trick

Campbell's girlfriend at his day care, Mackenzie hates to wear socks and has shown Campbell how to pull them off. Babies are amazingly smart! He sometimes leans over and tugs on them, but his favorite method of removal is wiggling his feet back and forth on the carpet. Below is a series of photos of Campbell's new favorite trick.

Multitasking

Making more progress...
Finally, they are off!

Eating

We decided to move Campbell from his bebe pod chair to a high chair and he loves it. He is doing great with solid foods and opens his mouth very wide and sometimes he even lounges at the spoon. We've introduced puffs to him (which is a finger food similar to cheerios but dissolves really easily) and he enjoys chewing them up. He hasn't mastered getting them from his fingers to his mouth, but Joey is trying to teach him. It is amazing that he knew to immediately start chewing them when I put one in his mouth.

He didn't start out too happy, but he quickly calmed down once we got a few bites of food in him.

Campbell has also started holding his own bottle. He doesn't do it a lot, but if you catch him in the right mood he'll do it. He is growing up way to fast!

And he also LOVES cell phones or anything electronic...

Campbell finally gets a tooth...

After much anticipation, Campbell woke up Monday, February 23rd with a tooth! We were very excited for a tooth to finally break through his gums. It is on the bottom right smack dab in the front. He has been teething since he was 3 months old and it seemed like a lifetime before one pushed through. I haven't been successful in taking a picture of it, but as soon as I am, I'll post one.
