6 MONTHS OLD

Campbell is 6 months old. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? He is now eating solid food like a champ. He loves peas, pears, sweet potatoes, green beans, bananas, apples. In the next few days we will try butternut squash and carrots.

He is sitting up by himself and reaching for everything in sight. He already loves electronics and grabs for them whenever they are near.

Bella and Campbell are great pals! Bella lets him pet her and really do anything to her. The other morning Campbell grabbed her ear and Bella just sat there.

He still has NO teeth but we are sure one is on the way in a matter of days because he's been running a low-grade fever and been extra fussy. We'll keep everyone posted when the tooth finally breaks through the gum.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas day. It was very busy! We woke up and exchanged gifts with each other at our house. Then we went to Grammy's house for more gifts and breakfast. Then we were off to Grandma and Granddaddy Harrison's for lunch. The final event of the day was dinner at our house with Grammy, Aunt Christy and Uncle JK, and Gammy. Campbell's first Christmas was very special for us. We can't wait for next year!

Campbell meets Santa

We never made it to the mall to see Santa. Campbell was still able to see Santa (aka Grandddaddy Harrison). We think Esther should make Tommy go get a job being Santa next year!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a big day! Campbell attended church for the first time and did very well. He only screamed once, at the very end of the service. We were all very impressed! We went to my Aunt Christy's house afterwards for dinner. My Gammy came from Ft. Lauderdale to take part in Campbell's first Christmas. He loved sitting on her lap and cuddling.

Holiday Season

We have had a wonderful time sharing the holiday cheer with Campbell. Here are several photos that were taken throughout the month of December.

Decorating the Christmas tree

Joey and Campbell helped me decorate the Christmas tree. This is the first year Joey has helped me decorate, and it was fun to have the whole family involved.

Friends from out of town...

We had several friends come home for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and Campbell got to meet them for the first time. Here are a couple from the weekend.

Campbell Goes Tailgating

Campbell went to his first tailgate. We picked the coldest day to bring him. He didn't seem to mind it though.

Finally, after several attempts Campbell actually swallows his food. He still got pretty messy but seemed to enjoy it and didn't push it back out of his mouth.

We had a wonderful day. I woke up bright and early ran the Turkey Trot and let Joey and Campbell sleep in. We headed over to Grandma and Granddaddy Harrison's for lunch. We had a very small crowd this year, but we all had a ton of fun. Thomas and Alden brought their four wheelers and all the boys, young and old, rode them and had a blast.
